Pastor Teresa Miller

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. ”  Psalms 118:17

” Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!” Jeremiah 9:1

Pastor Teresa A. Miller, a native of Canton, Ohio was born to Apostle Anderson Morehead, Sr. and the late Betty Sue Morehead. Teresa was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at an early age. Her father faithfully had family prayer daily, assembling the family in one room to seek the face of God. Teresa attributes these events with keeping her with the mind to please God in spite of the transitory, ever-changing situations of life.

After attending Howard University and Iona College, Teresa got married in 1977 and moved to Dallas, Texas. Upon a separation in 1990, Teresa felt the lead of the Lord to return to New York to family and her church roots. She began working in the church as the executive administrator to the late Bishop John Morehead. He once told her that the Lord had commissioned him to be her mentor. Teresa gleaned substantial wisdom and knowledge from Bishop Morehead. She was ordained an evangelist in 1994 and continued to serve in this capacity until 2002, when she was ordained a Pastor by Bishop Kenneth Moales.

Pastor Miller’s burning desire is to please God and to be used in the up building of His kingdom. She has experienced many attributes of the Lord; in particular, His healing her from cancer in 1992. Her motto, “God is in control” has taught her to trust in the Lord with all of her heart, and not to yield to her own understanding. She anticipates the future with immense exuberance because God is doing great things in her and with her!
